Here are three pictures from my archives of Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad #5 running from Mineral,WA to Tacoma, WA for Tacoma Rail's open house in September 2001. The first photo is approaching the Orting Kapowsin Hwy at Tanwax, WA. The second photo is cresting the hill at Thrift, WA with Mt. Rainier behind the engine. The third photo is the train coming down the ex-Milwaukee Rd Tacoma Hill at 43rd St in Tacoma.

NICE! I sure miss old #5; my first steam cab ride with Harold Borovec on a winter holiday train.
