OSH calendars---official word
Author: CarolVoss

Daughter who works there just verified that the boxes of calendars have been delivered to the stores and will be available December 1 (and maybe this weekend depending on the store).

No, but a long tradition of giving away
calendars with paintings of trains. They
did have a boxcar at their San Jose flagship
store. That boxcar is now at San Jose's History
Park, where the California Trolley & Railroad
Corporation are working to restore it.

Past OSH calendars featured prominent painters of railroad history whose originals have been converted into
posters and reprints. Sometimes they feature steam and important locations and other times they have
featured famous early diesels. That is the anticipated surprise with each year's offering. Kind of
like "Forrest Gump".....you just never know what you are going to get. They are worth getting a copy
of and have been a calendar I have obtained each year for several years.

Alas, OSH closed the store here in Sacramento. Anyway to get a calendar without driving hundreds of miles to find an OSH?
