Steam & Excursion > PM 1225 near Elsie, MI.

It's the fourth weekend of PM 1225 Christmas Action for 2014. I
drove all the way to Owosso from Mt Pleasant and checked out a few
spots in town: nice, but too close to crossing bells, so I headed
for a new spot that I found north of Elise: Maple Rapids Road.
It's fairly secluded and on a little traveled country road. Of
course a pickup pulled up at the last moment to watch the action.
He figured out that I was taking pictures and backed up a bit. I
got to Ashley too late to set up the camera, but just in time for
a front row seat has he crossed M-57. That 2-8-4 really looks good
strutting down the track.

Nice, thanks for showing the whole train. Was the 1225 drifting? I didn't hear any chug chug.

Thanks. Actually there is a slight incline there. I was hoping
for some stack music, but it was not to be. Needs 50 more cars
to begin to labor ;-)
