Hmmm... it's been over a minute, I'm surprised, lol.

What day was it?

Lol - OK, I don't even know that.
Forgot to note such info, but needless to say, pre-digital
age. Kind of miss seeing her outside - you can't really
appreciate some engines tucked indoors between multiple
displays.

Here she is in June of 2010 at the B&O RR Museum:

Yes and it's preserved inside which is great. I only wish that they could put more locomotives and passenger cars inside; but alas they don't have the space and they will not at least paint and protect the other engines & cars outside screaming for paint. Nor will they allow any volunteers to paint them. A real Shame.
Thanks for sharing your photos.

Baltimore. Or Huntington 1967 when we walked into the engine house to find the crapper and there it was!!

Now that thing is unique enough that it would be nice to see it restored and running; though finding a matching consist would likely be impossible.

Then again, I suppose most people would hate it because "Steam is Black" and this isn't.

Ah, but it's a Hudson. Re your first post, Mitch, "too much paint."

Here she is much earlier in life. IMHO she is much prettier before rather than after!

Wow - never saw here in the early part of her career!

She looks great - both ways. I've always been a fan of
streamliners and in she did justice to that era in her
aggressive looks.

Interesting placement of the headlight - don't know if
I've ever seen one placed so low on a non-articulated
steam engine before?

Thanks for the photo!

Anyone have a color pic of #490 streamlined in service?
There's some question as to the color of her drivers
while in service, though I assume as displayed is pretty
close.
