The "Office"

On the Nevada Northern, this is where the work gets done. And the train waits at East Ely.

A great place to go and enjoy Steam at it's best. Go when they have a photo charter or public railfan event and you
and your camera will never forget the experience.

Boy that is a bare bones backhead. One water glass, no tri-cocks. Whoopos, might be another water glass behind the light fixture on the left side.

The tri cocks are on the far right. They drain into a common trough. Don't all engines have to have tri cocks to be legal? I know the 104 at the OZRR in Omaha has only two but it was built by Kraus in 1890.

There are two water glasses and three gauge cocks (also called tri cocks or try cocks) visible on this engine.

Until recently, Federal regulations required a minimum of one waterglass and three gauge cocks. Now, two waterglasses are required and gauge.three cocks are optional.
