Steam & Excursion > An ore train on the Adverse branch (NNRY)Date: 02/23/15 23:58 An ore train on the Adverse branch (NNRY) Author: Harlock In my last post TrainRider47 commented that he was happy to see the adverse branch back in operation along with ore hoppers out on the line.
At the NNRY we enjoy re-creating period correct shots, because it's one of the few places where you can. Here we have #93 with empties returning from the big trestle above the smelter at McGill. The only potential problem with this shot is I don't know if they had the ability to turn the engines there, or if they shoved back or pulled back to the mine. -M Mike Massee Tehachapi, CA Photography, Railroading and more.. Great Shot! The background scenery really makes the Adverse branch a highlight of a NN weekend. Michael Allen Date: 02/25/15 09:31 Re: An ore train on the Adverse branch (NNRY) Author: doge_of_pocopson wow wow wow
