Steam & Excursion > UP Steam: A Look in the ToolboxDate: 02/26/15 13:46 UP Steam: A Look in the Toolbox Author: trainjunkie A new video from the steam shop landed in my Facebook feed. I haven't watched it yet. Just passing it on. It's linked from here.

All that stuff is great, but how necessary is all that stuff to what the 844 actually needs? I mean if the stuff IS old and worn out and needs to be replaced as things do need to be, is that stuff really necessary or is he just replacing this stuff for the same reason as the rods? (Less noise, shinier, less grease splatters etc.) Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/26/15 14:16 by up3985. Date: 02/26/15 15:23 Re: UP Steam: A Look in the Toolbox Author: RustyRayls The dumb SOB needs to get 844 and 3985 running again! He sounds like someone else who constantly blames the previous administration for all the problems he can't seem to fix.

Date: 02/26/15 18:34 Re: UP Steam: A Look in the Toolbox Author: Mudrock The good news is that Ed said UP 844, UP 4014 and then UP 3985 so it looks as we will get all three running again.
Chris Date: 02/26/15 18:36 Re: UP Steam: A Look in the Toolbox Author: trainjunkie I tried but stopped watching at 1 minute. Couldn't take it. A bunch of noise to distract everyone from the real issues. Blah.
Date: 02/26/15 18:37 Re: UP Steam: A Look in the Toolbox Author: Realist It's just more of the usual bunkum from the pathological liar.
He has no clue what he's talking about. Someone should ask him on camera why the locomotive ran so well for so long if the old crew was so bad and neglectful. And why nothing runs at all since he took over. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 02/26/15 18:47 by Realist. Date: 02/26/15 18:46 Re: UP Steam: A Look in the Toolbox Author: CPRR Mudrock Wrote:

I do not see how that will be done with such a small crew. The only way it will be done is to have it outsourced. I think that if and when DL is de-throned the world will cheer.... This is the same POS who claimed 844 would run a trip in the fall of 2013. Then he claimed it would run to the CWS in 2014, then on Frontier Days in 2014, and is now telling gullible droolers it will run to CWS this year. The man is utterly shameless. Did the dl actually indicate that in the video (I refuse to watch anything that habitual liar puts out)?

Hmmmmm. I think it is lip service so people stop asking. I don't think he has any intention of touching 3985 which is a good thing in my opinion. That way he doesn't screw it up Posted from iPhone |
