Interesting channel 7 is just reporting it today. This was announced on the Cumbres & Toltec official Facebook page on the 19th...

Good News out of Colorado Springs!
The City of Colorado Springs has granted a series of 15 year leases totaling 45 years to the C&TS paving the way for the Railroad to relocate the 132 year old historic D&RGW #168 Locomotive to Antonito, Colorado.
This will allow the C&TS the opportunity to restore the locomotive that once hauled President William Howard Taft, to operating condition and run on the tracks again.
The #168 Locomotive has been on display in Antlers Park for 77 years just across the street from the Rio Grande Depot in Colorado Springs.
