Steam & Excursion > MT1 with the Oakland LarkDate: 04/26/15 07:43 MT1 with the Oakland Lark Author: Railpax71 Mountain type 4307 is from the first batch of 10 locomotives delivered by Alco-Schnectady to the SP in 1923. She is pulling the Oakland section of the Lark #73 past the Fruitvale, California station. Originally she had a 120-c2 tender with four wheel trucks which was replaced by a 120-c3 tender with 6 wheel trucks in 1924 shown here. She received the skyline casing in 1940. This photo is circa 1930.
