Climbing to Cumbres

 Early Sixties excursion climbs towards Cumbres Pass.  I believe this was an Illini Railroad Club excursion.  Can anyone remember...was the Illini trip usually Memorial Day?  Did the RMRRC trip usually fall around Labor Day?

I was on this trip,  had to cancel some graduate classes at Purdue.  Have 20 boxes of color slides--- all the way from chicago (with 4960 I believe)  to  alamosa, antinito, to durango, silverton and flemington and return.  will post some when I get them scanned.
