Steam & Excursion > Leviathan Excursions and Funeral Car (update)

The Lincoln Funeral Train tour continues in Ohio.  Last week Tom Boylan and I posted photo's of it in Ashland, now its in Wellington where the Leviathan, unlike in Ashland, was fired up and used for short excursion runs.  The Funeral car is not used in the excursions but is open to public tours with Civil War recreation actors posted as sentry's.  Also note in the photo of the Leviathan its size compared to the E8 next to it.

Note the "Pullman" wheels used for the funeral car, these are original's cast years ago by the Pullman Company, restored for this project.

I think I may have said this before, but Mr. Kloke has done a magnificent job on the Lincoln Funeral car and those two great locomotives.  Thanks for keeping us up to date on their travels.
