When you click on the link to video the photo of him, shows the disgust that there isn't enought chrome on the 4014.

Saw this on Facebook tonight. The second person interviewed ( young kid) is one of DL's followers and co creator of the 3985/844 Facebook page. Also funny when DL says the guys don't have any experience with Steam. Feel bad for the Nebraska TV people who did a serious video that really should air on Comedy Central.

No he doesn't, who knows how many people he banned from that page (me included) just because we're telling the truth about what's going on, and he's thinking we're just posting negative comments!

I also think he doesn't realize that some of the posts on there are borderline slanderous. Not just blaming the old crew, but accusations they missued funds and one adult even said, "I know that their public persona can be abrasive - particularly the former director of the Steam program,."

There's a fine line one what you can say on the internet and that site is walking right on it.

If he's accusing Steve Lee he's lucky I'm not there, because I would chew him out on that, I only saw them twice and got a good pic of Steve, Bob, Lynn and his wife in 2000 and I know that they were very nice people and they took pride in that steam program! This is really getting out of hand sometimes!

Wonder if he can explain why they all had clean personal records? Or why they kept things running but he can't.

Not the first group of people being deliberately misled by Ed Dickens. Remember the comment that UP 3985 hasn't run since 2007?

At least, the Nebraska TV people were simply doing interviews and reporting an event - no major journalistic blunder there. They do have valuable footage for later if they decided to a TV special on scam artists.

If it wasn't so sad, it would be funny.   "This is Spinal Tap" keeps running through my mind.   No disrespect to Spinal Tap intended.

I'm sure dl has solid proof to back up his allegations.  After all, it's not like
he has a history of making things up, is it??

I wonder why, 5 years later, he still has such a burning need to disparage his
predecessor?

A couple of observations here, nothing we already don't know. 

1)  Ed LOVES the spotlight.  He seems to come alive when a TV camera is pointed at him.  If they could just restrict him to PR, and not not actually touching anything or making a decisions, we would likely ALL be better off.

2) Ed seems to need everything to be just "perfect" before he can do the task at hand.  No making do with what you are given seems to work for him.

3) Ed has already set the groundwork for an excuse if he can't get the Big Boy operating again in his last sentence in the video.  If he fails, it will be because of some "catastrophe" with the locomotive, something totally out of HIS control, that will doom the project, not him.
