You know...about R&N 425....
Author: dcoursey

I watched a video recently that showed 425 in it's older black paint scheme, and seeing it made me realize that she'd look pretty damn good if she were ever made up to look like a G1 Reading Pacific. Especially if 2102 is actually restored to operation. Anyone agree?

(Sorry, bored at work lol)

Just my opinion but, I really don't thing that the 425 could ever look as big as those Reading Pacifics.

She may look a bit smaller. Not having that big Wooten firebox, for one thing. But overall, I think she'd still look quite nice :)

Just curious anyone have a photo of 425 as it looked in the GMO days?

The GM&N pic is supposedly a builders photo.  That would make it 1928?  Just imagine the current variation of 425 with a high headlight (again...as in, roll the clock back to 2007.)
Thanks to our sponsor: Mitch Goldman and Railpictures (photo from Dec 2007 before the headlight was centered.)
