this weekend during "RAILFEST 2016". The Steam Locomotive will be pulling Vintage Railroad Cars dating back to the 1920's. The Steam Train will be operating Saturday April 30th with 3 one hour train rides beginning at 10:00am, 12:01pm and 2:00pm! There will also be a 3 hour Diesel Powered train to Santa Paula departing at 11:30am. Then in late afternoon, there is a Dinner Train pulled by our #14 Steam Locomotive Eastward to downtown Piru. Dinner train departs Fillmore at 4:30pm and returns about 7:00pm. On Sunday May 1st, The Steam Train will be operating again with 3 one hour train rides beginning at 10:00am, 12:01pm and 2:00pm! All Trains both days depart from Central Park in Downtown Fillmore. Fillmore is located halfway between Ventura and Santa Clarita on Hwy 126 in Ventura County! Be sure to say HI to the Conductor which just happens to be me! Where else can you RIDE and watch a steam train in such beautiful settings and so yet close to a lot of California population. This will be an annual event for us . Thanks Steve for a fun day !
