Steam & Excursion > 844 July 23, 2016Date: 06/24/16 11:45 844 July 23, 2016 Author: dougd Assuming (assume--that makes an ass out of you and me) that 844 will seek to leave Cheyenne on the way to Denver and back July 23, 2016---anyone have a definite guess as to the time she might try to leave the Cheyenne yard?
Date: 06/24/16 11:47 Re: 844 July 23, 2016 Author: jderoo She wouldn't leave the 23rd as that's the day of the Frontier Days trip. She would likely leave the 21st and
maybe sometime in the morning. Date: 06/24/16 14:46 Re: 844 July 21, 2016 Author: wko In the past it's typically been a 10:00 departure.

Since he doesn't "get along" with other managers throughout the UP, and has "stuck" some Dispatchers in the past, I'm sure the Dispatchers "get even" whenever they can. Which going back to BAB's comment, would then still make that DL's fault. When I worked with him, he was always a get it over the road kind of guy.

Maybe when he was a regular Engineer out of the Denver Pool, but after he became Manager of the steam shop in May 2010, he started to burn bridges everyplace he went starting in 2011. That would be the 21st and the 23rd will be the Frointier Days roundtrip train out of Denver. Then they come back to Cheyenne on Sunday which is the 24th with a variable departure time in Denver.
