Steam & Excursion > NYC J3 Hudsons in St. Louis

Does anyone know if New York Central J3 Hudsons operated west of Indy to St.Louis or southern Illinois on the former Big Four?  I have numerous photos of J1 Hudsons pulling trains to and from St. Louis, and I've seen Trains magazine's photo essay of J1s around Mattoon, Illinois.  But, no evidence of J3s.  Any information, references, or photos that could be posted would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Yep it was in the abandoned tunnel at the Museum of Transportation. If Frisco1522 would have known they would have restored it instead :-)
