844 was supposed to leave Marion ramp Monday morning and go west to Little Rock.  It did, but it was facing the wrong way in the yard.  So it had to complete a wild reverse move to get facing west before departure.   The entire train (without 1982) went east down the Memphis Sub to the Hulbert to West Memphis to get on the former CRIP/SP Brinkley Sub, where it had to back up all the way to Briark past the switch so it could head back down the Memphis Sub westbound.  Lots of other traffic around and the 416/421 dispatcher was a little frustrated.  

1.  Coming east from the Memphis Sub and turning south down the Hulbert Sub at Presley Jct.  
2.  Rolling through downtown West Memphis
3.  At Briark, notice the steam blowing west its still backing up

A lot of fun, and enjoyed the crowd and conversation at Fair Oaks with fans from Memphis, Little Rock and beyond.  Thanks for looking..
