Then I hope Steve can find Doc Brown and get the train up to 88mph, because the LAUPT celebration was the first weekend in May ;)

(Las Vegas to Yermo was May 4.)

Nice shot!..and yes, glad I was a note making hound back then, because memory fades after 27 years! .you're pic reminded me of my 1st video taken of 8444, same train, headed east throught Idaho, on 5/26/89. (Yet another one of 50 VHS tapes that need conversion to digital)
