I found these yesterday. The date is supposed to be August 9, 1988, but is subject to correction

Picture 6 1522 near Stanton June 16, 1900.

Photo 6 was the NRHS convention special out of St. Louis to Newburg and return with 1522. They borrowed our 5 coaches to fill out the consist.

Thank you Bob for the correction. I remember you mentioned 618 at Heber, these are for you, taken in March 1988 (again I could be wrong).

Great memories of 1522. Thanks for sharing them.

Piloted her on the first freight break in run to Fond du Lac. Very smooth riding engine and a magnificent machine!

The last 1522 shot is at Pacific, MO where the end of the double track used to be until they took up the second main back in the 50s

Thank you Frisco 1522 for the location id of the last. Found two more (supposedly) taken on August 9, 1988. I miss the crisp "bark."
