anybody from Trainorders riding 611 trips this weekend?
I am riding both Saturday trips and ataying at Hotel Roanoke

Line siding with friends from Scotland and Italy. And yes, I paid a coach fare for the privilege and told them to give it to someone who can't afford it. Anyone on the line side with a camera should do the same.

Hoping for a clear view from the dome of the Summit View for the first run to Radford. No matter what happens in 2018, I will be so glad that I did it this way.

We'll be down from Ohio for the Saturday morning trip. Safe travels to all!

No but I'll be out there taking pictures! I'll be on my way over to Roanoke on No. 4 tomorrow morning!

Traveling from Oklahoma to see the J on Sunday, York 17 in steam on Monday, MILW in steam on June 1st and then to re-unite with Fitz for the Daylight's run to Bend. Whew!

Thank you, sir!! That is very kind of you. Others
should do what you did.

To all --
If you are going to chase, and buy a ticket as a donation,
please tell whoever is selling tickets that you will not be
riding the train, so they can either give your ticket to
someone who could not otherwise afford to ride, or re-sell it.
At least make a donation of some amount to the organization
that runs and maintains the locomotive. Remember what Steve
Lee told someone who asked him what his locomotives burned,
coal or oil. He said, "Money!" He is right!

Was going, but ended up laid up on a broken ankle. Oh well.

Originally planned to go, but life intervened. Next year, I hope.

I'll be riding the Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning runs. One will be in the dome on Summit View, the other will be in one of the parlor cars.

Looking to see and hopefully meet some of the TO members who will be there.
