Author: jst3751 In an article on UP planning and preparing for the 150 year golden spike anniversary, it is stated that UP operates 2 steam locomotives and is renovating a third.

Author: cchan006 Trains Magazine messed up few years ago when the magazine bought into the "Senior Manager's" propaganda that UP 3985 hadn't operated since 2007. (False: it operated in 2008 and 2010)
This isn't a bad thing. TO members have the ability to post their own truths, with photos, videos, and eyewitness reports verifiable by other members. Author: mundo Remember some of this material could be from the UP own releases/pr statements. Not saying that trains no longer has the staff knowledge that it needs however.

I've seen a lot of that on this site over the years along with terrible spelling and really weird grammar....
