Steam & Excursion > SP 4449 Eastbound and Down...to a Plod!Date: 06/26/17 04:27 SP 4449 Eastbound and Down...to a Plod! Author: funnelfan I first caught the SP 4449 special in the tunnel section between Cooks and Hood on the Fallbridge Sub. Must have been a slow order out in this area as the already hours late special was just ambling along about 25mph or so. First of many SP 4449 photos to come....if you guys aren't burned out on them already.

Mary McPherson Dongola, IL Diverging Clear Productions Date: 06/26/17 06:18 Re: SP 4449 Eastbound and Down...to a Plod! Author: MP733 There was a temporary 25 mph speed restriction for a couple of miles due to, I believe, recent tie work.

Not possible to have too many beautiful photos of] the SP 4449, especially when they are as gorgeous as yours are! This one is stunning!! No way will I EVER get "burned out" on photos of the SP 4449 -- ever! Please keep those photos coming! Date: 06/27/17 06:42 Re: SP 4449 Eastbound and Down...to a Plod! Author: hot_tub Was this taken where the road crosses over the tracks by the tunnels? I saw a bunch of no trespassing signs there, but later heard there were a bunch of squatters camping there who put up those signs, so they are really bogus. That scenario sounded even more intimidating to me since you never know what type of person you might run into. Great shot though. I wish I had gone there instead of where I set up (light was great when I got there, but the sun moved over because of the delays).
