Steam & Excursion > IC whistle at Monticello this weekend

Just a reminder for anyone who may be interested, the I.C. whistle I acquired earlier this year will be on Southern Railway #401 at the Monticello Railway Museum this weekend. I'm looking forward to hearing one live for the first time since I last saw Crab Orchard & Egyptian 2-8-0 #17 under steam in 1985.

I'll be posting audio/video next week. We'll have three audio units and three videographers roaming around over the course of the weekend. I'm this young'n of the bunch... the other two saw the last of I.C. steam as kids.

Duck !!

Do you know if the IC whistle will be on 401 during RR Days in September? Plan on heading over with my 6 yr old son that Saturday since we had so much fun last year
