Built in 1937, she's "young" for a 2-8-0. Alco's last 2-8-0 I remember hearing somewhere... Seen here on the Copper Hill Trestle in March.

Beautiful picture!

It could possibly be the newest ALCO 2-8-0 built for a US road still in existence. The Bangor & Aroostook took delivery of 5 Consolidations from from ALCO in Nov., 1937 and a final one in 1945.

Here's a picture of BAR 402 for comparison.
