She steamed today on some warmup runs at the Laws Railroad Museum, getting ready for a weekend of hauling passengers celebrating the return of the Slim Princess. May this be the start of something special here!

This is A fabulous bunch of talented volunteers who have worked for years to make this happen. We have been actively restoring since 2010 and only work on a few weekends a year. I'm working in Alaska right now but might make a trip to Laws in October if it's going to be there for awhile.

However, on another note...I thought about driving down to see the festivities, but when they said that "ABSOLUTELY NO DOG'S ALLOWED" on the museum grounds that put a damper on that! Hell, Ted, my Dalmatian has been in and rode more steam locomotive cabs than most people! A responsible dog owner generally keeps his pets in check. He's probably more well mannered than the "little snot nosed urchins" running around bothering folks!...I'm just sayin'...
