The tank cars at right are spotted by what appears to be an unloading facility. Are the cars in fact carry petroleum products to Chama, or are they simply preserved for the historic collection. If so, what's the purpose of the unloading platform?

If I remember right it is the loading dock. The cars are part of their historic collection.

Loading dock for crude oil from the Gramps oil field in Colorado and others in Rio Arriba County, NM. One or more tank cars labeled "Gramps" are being restored by the Friends in Antonito.
