Does anyone remember a black and white steam photographer from the northeast, named W.R.Hicks? What ever happened to his negative collection?

You may want to contact the Western Maryland Ry and/or B&O historical society, he took many photographs of those roads, someone there may have some insight.

You know.....that is is good idea....and If anyone one from that group is a TO member.....please tell me here. I met W.R.Hiicks when I was a kid, just learning about Reading T-1's from fan trips in the '60"s. He lived a bicycle ride away from me. He was a good guy, and showed me pictures & negatives. I only wish I had made a firmer friend to him when I had the chance. But,......I was only a kid, why I thought the greatest steam engine of all times was the Pennsy K-4.
