Author: Pattenburg Was editing some slides and came across this scene of Norfolk & Western 1218 coming into Roanoke (VA) back in September, 1990. Details on my slide is sketchy so any information would be appreciated.

That's almost as long as it was out of service before the last time it was restored (1959 to 1987). Who know's if it will ever be restored again. Never say never.
