SP4449 to Railfair '99

Here we see SP 4449 coming off the Columbia River Bridge in Vancouver, WA as the train begins its journey to Sacramento, CA and Railfair '99. This was my first opportunity to see this wonderful locomotive in steam. June 12, 1999.

Additional cars were added to the train, when we picked up the Mount Emily Shay, just prior to our overnight stay in Bend, OR.

Very, very nice video!
And quality is superb.
Is this a digital conversion from VHS tape?
Very curious about the system used if it is a conversion.
