If one didn't know better the exhaust would lead one to think she was a coal burner.

Looks like the cold morning at Roseburg, Oregon in 1988 when the 4449 headed the "Shipper's Special". It indeed was very cold that morning.

Looks like it was on the trip for the Washington State Centennial back in 1989.
