You know, the real sleeper there for me was the Middletown and Hummelstown Railroad in Pennsylvania. I was there once when they ran with a big red bow on the front knuckle couple. I then gave up on them for years. Later, I saw them advertising a steam run relettered Canadian National. I decided to give them another chance. After arriving, I saw no sign of steam. I went into the ticket office, and the lady inside very rudely informed me that they would NOT be running any steam. The men hadn't found time to fix the locomotive. I walked out to join the folks in the car that I had brought out with me to ride the train, and drove away......never to return.

Mike, I only saw that run that time, the women you mentioned was very rude indeed, I had a run in with her about where I parked my truck. Nasty indeed! Ed K.
