My guess is it is 6060, May 1986 heading west to Expo 86 in Vancouver BC. First image would be in the Fraser River canyon, and perhaps guessing next images north of Kamloops along the Thompson river. Doug

Is this locomotive still operational? The last update on their website appears to have been in 2009...

Hi H,
If you have our discontinued video "CN 6060 Freight to Vancouver" I think those shots are in there. I was right near you on the bridge shot, and I did a vertical which was used on the cover of the video jacket. I think the whole train along the river is the Thompson River somewhere west of Ashcroft perhaps. That bridge has a name for the area or the bridge. I just cannot recall it.
For the other poster. 6060 runs periodically at the Alberta Prairie Railway in Stettler Alberta on their track to Big Valley. Back in 1999 we went up there specifically to get 6060 on a run east to Coronation (ex CPR). That was 60 miles which was nice. That was torn out a year or two after we were there. That footage is available in "CN 6060 Steam Special".
I always liked this engine and rode the first trip out of Toronto in 1973, then went back to chase in 1975 and 76.
