I was the only passenger. The trip didn't start off well- we backed through a spring switch trying to get out of the yard and 3 or 4 cars went on the ground (I've logged something like 3 million miles in my time- this was my 1st derailment!) But no harm done. We got everything back on the rails, and were off for fast, smooth ride.
