Author: spdaylight Pulled this still from the video that I posted two days ago from the platform of the business car on 4449's run by at Sawmill Curve. Just curious if anyone remembers who they are - thinking they were important as they were in the best coach in the consist. Sorry bout the quality of the still but I pulled it from the original film and blew it up a bit to better ID them.

I only made it back there once during the two day trip, and it was pretty crowded. Date: 06/17/18 21:32 Re: Any idea who these guys were on the 4449 trip to Sacto in 198 Author: asheldrake someone really needs to write the George Kraus story.....I did not know him but what he did behind the scenes to support 4449 operations was absolutely outstanding and pivotal. including getting SP's President approval for the New Orleans trip.....a mostly unknown hero.
