NKP - Nickel Plate Road - 765

NKP - Nickel Plate Road - 765 -  will travel across Northwestern Ohio on Norfolk Southern Thursday Sept 20, 2018. 
Leaving Ft. Wayne, Ind. after 10:00 a.m. and heading towards Fostoria, Bellevue, Ohio.  From Bellevue it will continue to travel
east towards Cleveland and departing on CSX towards Akron where it will spend time on Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad
excursion trips through Peninsula, Ohio.

In past years NKP 765 would travel from Bellevue using 
W&LE - Wheeling and Lake Erie to Akron. This will not
happen this year as W&LE will not allow.  Most likely 
because of Insurance reasons.

765 should have the California Zephyr cars that the CVSR purchased tagging along to Akron.

You are claiming that her deadhead move to the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic RR next month is already planned down to the minute, AND that she will be allowed to run over the CSX???  Really?    Where did you get this information?  TIA!!

Yes, it DOES look much beter without them, but they serve an important purpose when they ARE on there, and THAT is all that matters.  It's an EXTREMELY small price to pay if it makes ferrying the locomotive from place to place easier and more cost effective.
