I'm pretty sure the creek below (you can't see it- I was standing directly over the culvert) is the same water course that the Lobato Trestle crosses, Wolf Creek.

You are correct.  The uphill side of the culvert had a date of "1883" or something like that.

Nice use of a super-wide angle! It's slightly startling, but I like the effect and I'm usually pretty negative about extensive lens distortion like this!
