This is a follow up to my earlier post.  This is the view West from Big Horn Peak.  Looking West the line follows the elevation contours and crosses left and right, in and out of view.  You can follow the train, but clear photo shots at not as
plentiful due to vegetation- you can only see the train from about the waist up.  It wasn't possible to get around the mountainside quick enough to get the freight as it left the Big Horn Yard Limits, so the first shot here is the regular scheduled train that followed about an hour behind.

We had been riding the train the day before and I noticed they had more than one defibrillator...    I asked to borrow one.
They said "no", but (recklessly) we made the climb anyway.

As much time as I've spent out there I always seem to find a new spot, love your pictures, this time
of year is really nice there.

Can't wait for your next series of photos taken from Big Horn Peak.....when there is at least a foot or two of snow on the ground!  LOL!

A map of the route from Antonito (MP 260.32) to Chama (MP 354.12).  A regular bowl of spagetti.  Not sure where I got this but I've had it a bunch of years.
