Steam & Excursion > Fillmore & Western Christmas Train Ventura CA 12/18

As a Canon shooter, I find night photography and blue hour frustrating. Not that I can't get results a million time better than film, but because the Nikons and Sonys nearby are doing it with so much less noise than I am.

Here are two of my better blue hour shots of Fillmore & Western #14 leading their Christmas train on the Montalvo Wye in Ventura CA. They are heading to their first stop, the Metrolink East Ventura station. From there, they will make some more Ventura County stops all the way back to their home in Fillmore.

Thanks for coming out to see us. It's not a Christmas train it's a toy collect for the less fortunate of Ventura county.
