July 12Th through July 19Th 1968

I had finished removing all the retaining nuts on the small and large smoke box doors plus the super heater cover so it was decided that we best do a "family" portrait. The first higher front end shot was done by Doyle McCormack while the other two were captured by Paul Prescott. The crew from left to right were Bob Bartone, Doyle McCormack (both laborers), Dale Moses (retired NKP roundhouse foreman), Hank Webber (VP-Mechanical High Iron Company), Wes Camp (VP-CMO High Iron Company) and up front was Harry Emery our shop "mascot" so to speak. Missing was Joe Karal (retired NKP boiler maker). All these guys worked hard and were fun to work with!
