Steam & Excursion > Everett Railroad 2019 schedule now available

The Everett Railroad's 2019 schedule of diesel and steam powered excursions is now available on its website. The Steam into the Cove (from Hollidaysburg to Martinsburg, PA) excursion with 2-6-0 #11 would be of greatest interest to railfans.  This year, they are being operated on March 23 and September 15.  My ride on the Steam into the Cove excursion last April was very enjoyable.  I am reposting a couple of photos from that excursion.

Also sounds good when pulling a train up a grade.

I have begun to appreciate 2-6-0s as I get older.

September 16, 2018  Ice cream run to Roaring Spring, # 11 pulling hard through Rodman Siding, where the grade is around 1.6% up through McKee's Gap.
