Steam & Excursion > 5 Years Ago at Strasburg---An Amazing DayDate: 02/17/19 13:58 5 Years Ago at Strasburg---An Amazing Day Author: Tominde On the Strasburg opening weekend of 2014, Carl Franz operated a photo freight charter using the Strasburg's vintage freight cars. This past weekend #89 pulled revenue freight on the Strasburg. In 2014 there was already close to a foot of snow on the ground and it snow most of the day. It was an ideal winter steam trip. Well perhaps a little less wind would have been nice. I may have previously posted some of these, or something similar 5 years.

The latter has pretty well zeroed out my railfan photography these days, other than heritage/tourist operations and passenger trains. Art House |
