2-8-2 SY58
Author: Hou74-76

Here are some photos I took.  Knox & Kane R.R. 2-8-2 SY58 (Formerly SY1658M, built at Tangshan in China in 1989, is shown at Marienville, PA circa 1996.  They used the Long Island RR commuter coaches and I was pleased to find a couple of cars in storage still with the dashing commuter logo somewhat intact. As I understand it, Valley Railroad bought the loco after the demise of Knox & Kane tourist service and rebuilt the SY to look like a New Haven Railroad J1 Class 2-8-2 and renumbered it to 3025.   Question, is it still going strong since it entered service?
