CB&Q home-built O-5A & O-5B info
Author: s3northern

Hello,

I'm hunting for good reference info on the Q's homebuilt groups of O-5 Northerns. Can anyone in the know chime in, please, with their opinion for the best source of reading? Possibly a particular issue of the Burlington Bulletin? I'm looking for nuts and bolts info, not a photo book.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

No Burlington Bulletin has been done on the O-5’s sadly. I have Bernard Corbins “Steam Locomotives of the Burlington Route”, it is mostly pictures but it does have drawings of each locomotive class. I would recommend joining the CBQ group on Groups.IO. They have a bunch of guys with a wealth of CB&Q knowledge plus they’re tied in with the Burlington Route Historical Society

Thanks, Spoony. I'll check that out. Much appreciated.
