Steam & Excursion > Some of My 4014 Shots

Got to spend last weekend with my father chasing 4014 and getting a few days of hiking in around Colorado. Here are my takes on the 4014 happenings. 

Photo 1: Rolling through Speer from my drone. 
Photo 2: Hermosa Tunnel.
Photo 3: Rock River area.

Most of the people in the chase were friendly as were UP employees and law enforcement seen along the way last Saturday. All in all a good time. Shoutout to UP and the steam crew for an event that really brought people together.

What caliber people/foamer filter did you use?

It was elbow to elbow. Might see a fellows head if you look near the bottom of the pic.

It seems that steam trips out on the main line never fails to attract huge crowds.....telling me that steam has never died in the collective American soul.

Great lighting on all three pictures; excellent locations. How did you manage to get from Speer to the tunnels considering the traffic?

I appreciate the comments! I was able to use some dirt roads off 80 to get to the tie siding/Hermosa area quick enough for the shots. The schedule delay with the stop at Harriman made it possible.
