Steam & Excursion > Union Pacific 4014 - King of the West (Part 1)Date: 05/16/19 07:36 Union Pacific 4014 - King of the West (Part 1) Author: tehachapi-dave Good Morning,
My father and I were able to spend two days chasing the return trip of the UP Steam Special from Ogden pulled by UP 4014 and 844. Today we look at Sunday's trip from Ogden, UT to Evanston, WY. This was also the first public excursion pulled by the newly restored Big Boy. The highlights for the day were Weber and Echo Canyons. Despite the massive crowds we were able to find locations with a clean view of the train. Enjoy! (Full HD Version on YouTube under "Belt Line Productions") Tehachapi-TJ Over & Out. Edited 1 time(s). All the above compliments leave me lost for words. Great entertainment. Well done.

------------------------------------------------------- > Why so jerky? upkpfan I would assume you mean the slight choppiness of the video. Unfortunately I have to compress the video pretty heavily to fit on Trainorders, (this six minute video was nearly 3 GB) and this is the "best of the worst" compression qualities I've been able to manufacturer. The native Full HD version is on my YouTube Channel - Belt Line Productions, though I can't provide a direct link. I'll play around a little with part two to try and get better quality. Hope that clarifies it. To everyone else, thank you very much for the comments! Tehachapi-TJ Over & Out. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/16/19 19:36 by tehachapi-dave.
