steam on SEPTA
Author: chuchubob

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority and New Hope & Ivyland Railroad cooperated to make the borough of North Wales, PA, 150th anniversary memorable.  Consolidation NHRR 40 with NHRR passenger cars operated between the North Wales and Gwinedd Valley stations on SEPTA's Lansdale/Doylestown line Saturday.  #40 was on the north end, photographed from the North Wales station platform when I detrained from a SEPTA Regional Rail train.  A SEPTA spokesperson then said photography from the platform was not permitted, presumably a safety measure to prevent overcrowding on the high level platform.
SEPTA KLW SE158 was on the south end of the train.
