Today is something a bit different. I had read replica locomotive No. 63 Leviathan would be running on the Loraine and West Virginia Railway at Wellington, OH about a three hour drive from my house in April 2014. . The original was built in 1868 for the Central Pacific. The replica was built in 2009 and is based in Illinois.  An evening trip was run for photographers which included Union soldiers gaurding the train against a possible Confederate invasion. They did a good job as no rebels materilized. But no idea how a Central Pacific loco ended up in the Civil War!
