1219 was a class K, built by Baldwin for predecessor Duluth & Iron Range. Similar 2-8-0 No. 332, a class C-3 built by Pittsburgh for predecesssor Duluth, Missabe & Northern, will be in steam about half the weekends this summer on 26 miles of former DM&IR track operated by the North Shore Scenic Railroad starting June 14. -LD Date: 05/19/19 15:05 Re: DM&IR 2-8-0 #1219 9/57 at ? Author: LarryDoyle The background does not look anything like the areas near the "docks" at either Duluth/Proctor nor at Two Harbors, so must be somewhere up on "the range":.
