Great song and fantastic video Roger you really made my day. Where was the OY going?

So I guess that answers the question of which side will feature the charter.

Not necessarily, I think it's more availability of shop space and labor with the one in Chama needed to keep the operating engines ready for daily use and to repair any breakdowns. And one more thing, the assistant general manager, Stathi Pappas, is based there and has just about finished work on the restoration of #168.

One more point that I gleamed from discussion elsewhere is that for safety the rotary will always be ahead of the engine upgrade when in transit. The reason is that the rotary has one set of brakes and if a knuckle broke going uphill it might become a runaway with its weight if they didn't hold.

Nah, the East side does a much better job with the crowd control issues and as to the OY I don't believe it's
needed major work. We'll see, doubt they'll get to my #77 anyway.

I just rode the regular train out of Chama a couple of weeks ago with my girlfriend, and I pointed the OY out to her, saying it's unlikely that she would ever plow snow again.  It looks like I was delightfully wrong.  Great video as always, Roger.

There's about a 500 person deep waiting list for whatever associated tickets are available for
next February.

My guess is the Rotary charter will run out of Chama.
