A Happy 4th Of July To All Of You Here From Loggerhogger!

While we all would love to be able to spend our Fourth Of July like this family in 1940 under the American flag in the yards of the Nevada County Narrow Gauge in Grass Valley, California, we still can enjoy this day celebrating our Independence.

Happy 4th to all of you here on Trainorders!

Guys....The Narrow gaugeyard inGrass Valley is now a musum with all the equipment thatcould be saved...Its next to aRV park and easy togetto..a wellworthtripto seewhat was once a operation...

NCNG #8 is ex-D#RG #283 (with boiler from D&RG #42).  It ended up on the Plaster City RR as their #8, and was scrapped in 1950.
